Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support daily upkeep of our apartment communities. The role focuses on cleaning, grounds maintenance, and assisting with basic repairs to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training in property maintenance, with opportunities to grow skills and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• Understanding and knowledge of yardwork and general facility maintenance.
• One year of maintenance, repair, or HVAC experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain grounds and common areas per standards.
• Assist with light repairs and maintain equipment and shop appearance.
• Replace bulbs, handle lock changes, and prep units for move-ins.
• Support pool, breezeways, and other amenities with routine maintenance.
• Promote professional relations with residents and team members.
