Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) seeks a Service / Maintenance Technician I to join our Charleston, SC team. You will maintain community buildings, clean common areas, refresh apartments, and assist maintenance staff while delivering outstanding service to residents.

Requirements include 1 year janitorial/grounds experience, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test, and being 18+.

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial and/or grounds experience.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community buildings, hallways, and breezeways.
• Sustain cleanliness of community amenities.
• Freshen apartments as needed.
• Report repair issues as necessary.
• Assist maintenance staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
