Job summary

General Services Corporation seeks a dependable maintenance associate to keep community buildings, hallways, and breezeways clean and welcoming in Charleston, SC. You will refresh apartments as needed and report repair issues, while assisting maintenance staff and delivering strong resident service.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in janitorial or grounds work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial and/or grounds experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community buildings, hallways, and breezeways
• Sustain cleanliness of community amenities
• Freshen apartments as needed
