Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance I to perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and utilities. The role collaborates with site leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations and excellent guest experiences in remote environments.

Work involves diverse maintenance tasks, from electrical and plumbing to carpentry and HVAC, with a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation and on-site duties at lodge facilities. Strong safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• OSHA guidelines for safety practices.
• Electrical principles and theories knowledge.
• Plumbing systems and operations.
• Lighting fixtures including emergency egress lighting.
• Handling chemicals such as paints and caustics.
• Arithmetic to calculate materials and measurements.
• Techniques for lifting, moving and storing tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture and follow SOPs, JSAs, policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment on schedule.
• Repair and maintain building structures and equipment (roofs, HVAC, generators).
• Inspect buildings and equipment weekly and document maintenance.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electronics like refrigerators and alarms.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal.
• Provide world-class customer service on site.
• Attend safety meetings and emergency procedures.
