Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the lodge maintenance team across its properties. You will oversee preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and building operations, coordinating with licensed professionals as needed.

The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus strong leadership and a commitment to guest and employee safety. Rotation is 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with rotation flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Facilities management degree or certification, or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification required.
• 2–5 years of HVAC, electrical code, and carpentry experience.
• 1–2 years of management or leadership experience.
• At least 1 year in a customer service role; English communication.
• Experience in an access-controlled or corrections environment.
• Ability to travel and work long rotations away from home.
• Pass a background check and urinalysis; provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe work environment compliant with building codes and OSHA standards.
• Adhere to MSDS and chemical handling standards.
• Manage a small team of maintenance staff.
• Inspect assignments for quality and safety.
• Conduct daily/weekly staff meetings.
• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC duties.
• Schedule preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with licensed professionals for complex issues.
• Ensure safety equipment is in place and functional.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies.
• Estimate, cost, and order materials.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests at any time.
• Perform outside custodial duties as required.
• Address diverse customer needs professionally.
