Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance I for the New Mexico location. You will perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repair on buildings, equipment, and utility systems, while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

The role involves rotating schedules (6 weeks on, 2 weeks off) or as directed, with opportunities to support remote environments across North America. Training and growth are available within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year as a facilities maintenance worker or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Must be able to work effectively with or without supervision.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home.
• Must pass a background check and urinalysis.
• Must provide your own transportation to the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture by following SOPs, JSAs, and Target Hospitality policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment on a schedule.
• Repair, modify, install, and maintain building structures and equipment (roofs, HVAC, generators, etc.).
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly inspections and keep maintenance records.
• Repair various equipment and materials including electronics, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and wiring.
• Maintain electronics such as refrigerators, TVs, air conditioners, and lift stations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform outside custodial duties as needed.
