Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance I for Ogden Manor in Naperville, IL. This full-time role supports the upkeep and safety of the community by completing routine maintenance, unit turnovers, and preventative tasks under supervision.

The successful candidate will perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical repairs, assist with vendor coordination, and follow safety protocols. High school diploma or GED preferred; pay is $20.00-$21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of general property maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety procedures, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders involving basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and escalate complex repairs to senior staff.
• Replace light bulbs, screens, hardware, and small fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC units, water heaters, and other common systems.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating vendor work as directed.
