TLC Management Co is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Naperville, IL. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the property safe, functional, and appealing. Compensation ranges from $23 to $28 per hour with quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance experience in residential/apartment communities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for after-hours emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and building systems to identify and address issues.
• Assist with turnover preparation and make-ready work for new residents.

Location: Naperville, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our vibrant apartment community in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.

The compensation range for this position is $23 to $28 per hour based on skill level and experience, plus quarterly bonus potential.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with Saturdays required at times, when scheduled for emergency on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Work Environment

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The Maintenance Technician will frequently use hand and power tools and may be required to lift heavy objects and climb ladders.
