Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC, is seeking a maintenance technician to improve reliability and reduce downtime across assigned process systems. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, document activities in SAP, and collaborate with process owners to lift performance and reliability.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent training, plus at least one year of relevant experience and SAP familiarity. Rotating shifts and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training in a relevant field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Experience with SAP or similar system for maintenance records preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand technical documentation, SOPs and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Improve systems and equipment reliability on the assigned process.
• Reduce downtime and support operation of the process.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability.
• Train fellow technicians and develop maintenance skills within the team.
• Use SPS tools for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Follow safety, environmental requirements and SOPs.
