Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC is seeking a maintenance technician to improve system reliability, reduce downtime, and support the operation of assigned processes. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, interpret technical drawings, and document activities in SAP while collaborating with engineers and production staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or military/industry training with understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in maintenance or manufacturing.
• Preferred experience in regulated, solid dose manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in performance of duties.
• Follow SOPs and maintain procedures, plans and spare parts lists.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned process equipment.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specs, drawings and data sheets.
• Work rotating and extended shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP and collaborate with process owners to improve performance.
• Train colleagues and contribute to team growth, using SPS tools for root cause analysis.
