Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our properties. You will perform unit turns, conduct routine maintenance, and coordinate with leasing staff to ensure smooth operations for residents.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in maintenance, ability to handle work orders, and basic English data entry. Must supply tools and may require a driver’s license. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a maintenance role, preferably in property management.
• Experience with unit turns, work orders, and/or appliance repair preferred.
• Basic computer skills; ability to input data in English into software.
• CAMT and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must supply own tools.
• Driver's license may be required (e.g., golf cart operation).

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers for seamless communication.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Participates in safety meetings and follows OSHA/SDS requirements.
• Diagnoses and performs minor repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and coordinates make-ready repairs and services.
• Emergency on-call is required as part of the position.
• Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
