Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform unit turns, preventive maintenance, and repairs across our Seattle properties. This onsite role requires coordinating with staff, maintaining grounds, and ensuring safety compliance. After-hours responses may be needed to keep communities running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year maintenance experience, basic English input, and tools to perform duties. CAMT/CPO credentials are a plus; valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a maintenance role, preferably in property management.
• Basic computer skills and ability to input notes in English.
• CAMT and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must supply own tools; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Coordinates with leasing staff and managers for communication and organization.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as directed.
• Participates in safety meetings and follows OSHA/SDS requirements.
• Diagnoses and repairs in homes and common areas; maintains grounds and property appearance.
• Inspects and coordinates make-ready repairs; responds to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Strives to exceed resident expectations with excellent customer service.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor or regional team.
