FedEx Corporation in Mesquite, Texas seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform basic preventive maintenance on material handling systems, utilizing mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls knowledge, and welding/fabrication to diagnose simple issues.

You will follow prescribed processes, build foundational skills, and support safety requirements while potentially assisting with small projects. Flexibility in shifts may be required.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required with minimum skill requirements.
Basic mechanical aptitude and foundational electrical/PLC understanding.
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate in writing within the department.

Mansioni

Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues visually or audibly at the component level.
Adhere to safety standards and participate in required trainings.
May assist with small projects and work a flexible schedule as needed.
