Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property teams in Seattle. You will perform groundskeeping, housekeeping, and routine maintenance to keep common areas inviting and safe, with on-site hours from 8 am to 5 pm and some on-call duties.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, minor repairs, coordinating make-ready work, and supporting a positive resident experience. We value reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to tackle diverse tasks across

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in property management preferred.
• Able to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage.
• Willingness to walk or drive between two sites as needed.
• Supplies own tools.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping and housekeeping and common area cleaning duties each day, creating excellent curb appeal
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services
• Maintains a strong focus on community appearance, including groundskeeping, curb appeal, and the upkeep and presentation of shared/common areas.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.
