Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Chambersburg, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform complex diagnostics and repairs on distribution center facilities and equipment. Under limited supervision, you will install, troubleshoot and maintain equipment to OEM standards, supporting daily operations and safety.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1 year of technician experience in production or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year as a technician in a production/manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability with AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of PLC.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (INFOR-EAM).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment failures and provide complex emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• Ensure repairs do not impact service level agreements.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair on production/facility machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Operate motorized equipment as needed (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.).
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
