Ingram Content Group in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform complex diagnostics and repairs on distribution center facilities and equipment under limited supervision. This role supports leadership and internal customers while maintaining safety and high equipment availability.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and 1 year as a technician in manufacturing, plus knowledge of electrical, mechanical, PLC basics, and maintenance systems such as INFOR-EAM.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year as a technician in a production/manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
• General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
• General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability with AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of PLC.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
• Knowledge of INFOR-EAM or comparable Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment failures and provide complex emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• Ensure repairs do not negatively impact meeting service levels.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance.
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Operate motorized equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
• Comply with safety regulations and keep area clean and orderly.
• Maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
