Job summary

Fairway Management in Tifton, GA is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join our property services team. In this role you will perform routine maintenance, respond to work orders, and ensure apartment communities are well-maintained and safe for residents.

You should bring hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building upkeep, with a focus on timely, quality repairs and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC during unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and property exterior.
• Complete daily resident work orders and report progress.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Assist with maintenance tasks at neighboring properties as needed.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
