Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Maintenance Partner to join our plant team in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. You will support production by keeping electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in top condition, performing PMs, repairs, and routine upkeep to ensure high-quality products and cost efficiency.

You will work with a cross-functional team to troubleshoot gearboxes, pumps, and building systems, while following lockout/tagout and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing or facility operations
• Ability to read, understand, and apply basic electrical and mechanical schematics
• Understanding of building systems including plumbing, electrical, lighting, and HVAC
• Ability to identify and service sanitary drain systems and grease traps
• Knowledge of power isolation devices in circuits and how to replace fuses and switches
• Experience with conduit installation and basic AC/DC theory
• Proficient in desktop programs (MP2, Word, Excel) and communication tools
• HS Diploma or GED required; physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly

Responsibilities

• Maintains manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition
• Operates and maintains building systems for safe, efficient production
• Troubleshoots gearboxes, pumps, valves, and basic components
• Replaces consumables and parts on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Performs PM tasks including condenser/evaporator maintenance and lubrication
• Ensures safety procedures, lockout/tagout and PPE compliance
• Maintains records and communicates repair orders with team leads
