Job summary

Sika in Haines City, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Building Finishing team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facilities equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with external services to keep operations safe and efficient.

Work independently and with plant staff to support TPM practices and project activities, while upholding all safety policies. This is an on-site role within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair production and facilities equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
• Coordinate with external maintenance contractors or OEM services as necessary.
• Repair or replace control devices, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Support the TPM program with scheduled actions and recordkeeping.
• Work independently and collaboratively with plant personnel to support operations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and facilities equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery, engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with external maintenance contractors or OEM services as necessary.
• Repair or replace control devices, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Facility Support

• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Perform equipment upgrades and improvements as required.
• Support the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program by completing scheduled actions and maintaining appropriate records.

Operations Support

• Work independently and collaboratively with plant personnel to support manufacturing operations.
• Provide project support and leadership as needed while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
