Baxter is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. You will work with CMMS, electrical schematics, PLCs, and vision systems, in a safety-conscious environment.

A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available for this role. The role requires 1–2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read and work with complex drawings.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Technical school training.
• 1–2+ years of maintenance experience on automated manufacturing machines/equipment.
• Experience with CMMS. Maximo preferred.
• Familiar with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron). SCADA/EMS/BMS experience preferred.
• Experience with motor controls, VFDs, servos, and high-speed packaging equipment.
• Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and part diagrams.
• Knowledge of sensors, vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) and industrial electronics.
• Electrical knowledge with AC/DC motors and drives up to 480V 3-phase.
• Must work in a clean room with PPE as required.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Use a drawing package and diagnostic tools to resolve electrical issues.
• Resolves equipment/process issues; performs unscheduled maintenance and responds to trouble calls.
• Performs daily preventative maintenance to keep equipment operational.
• Adheres to safety trainings (Arc Flash, Lock Out Tag Out) and GDP requirements.
• Documents all work in CMMS and follows GDP practices.
• Complies with EHS and SOPs; assists with global compliance with EHS.
• Performs equipment modification, upgrades, and new installations.
• Participates in department and site continuous improvement projects.
• Other duties as needed to support plant production.
