Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a maintenance technician to set up, operate, and optimize production equipment on a manufacturing floor. You will perform routine PMs, troubleshoot equipment, maintain logs, and help sustain product quality while minimizing downtime.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand tools, and adhering to plant policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, and safety protocols must be followed on a smoke-free campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read equipment logs and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment to meet production standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance as defined by PM program.
• Monitor downtime and log issues; assist with repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guards are in place and functioning.
• Maintain neat production area and accurate logs.
