Baxter is hiring a Maintenance Technician I in Marion, NC. The role ensures safe operation of plant manufacturing equipment through hands-on maintenance and proactive initiatives.

A $3,500 sign-on bonus is offered for this role, with good growth and teamwork opportunities across a collaborative manufacturing team. The position supports production with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs, including electrical and mechanical systems, in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2+ years maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with CMMS; Maximo preferred.
• Familiar with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; safety-aware.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on medical filling and packaging equipment.
• Uses diagnostic tools to resolve electrical issues and maintain uptime.
• Prepares work in CMMS, follows GDP and safety procedures.
• Performs routine maintenance and responds to trouble calls promptly.
• Maintains environmental health and safety standards on site.
