Job summary
United States Cold Storage, Inc. in McDonough, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering department with hands-on tasks, inspections, and repairs in a cold-storage environment.
You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with painting, forklift battery upkeep, and tackle occasional refrigeration-related tasks under supervision. The role requires a high school diploma and reliability; training will be provided, with opportunities for safety-focused growth and team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
- Experience in general maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the maintenance department during training and onboarding.
- Maintain professionalism and teamwork with facility management and staff.
- Complete painting tasks, including working at heights and in cold environments.
- Maintain and replace forklift batteries and perform routine inspections.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks and log equipment hours.
- Support emergency response efforts and participate in safety training.
