Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in McDonough, GA within the Engineering department.

You will maintain automated systems, diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with USCS Engineering to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution, and basic electrical/mechanical skills with the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal performance of automated systems and controls.
• Diagnose system faults and implement timely resolutions to ensure continuity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled activities as directed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for repairs.
• Escalate breakdowns and coordinate with operations, vendors, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Adapt schedules to complete multiple projects and support priorities.
• Operate forklifts and boom lifts safely when required.
• Utilize EAM/CMMS to manage work orders and document status.
