Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment, machinery, and facilities under supervision. This entry-level role focuses on learning and performing essential technical tasks within a manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect machinery, use a variety of tools, follow OSHA requirements, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance/repair experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must be able to operate hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps and other common tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery with a variety of tools.
• Follow OSHA requirements as they pertain to daily activities.
• Practice safety and lock-out/tag-out procedures in all responsibilities.
• Read and understand basic machine schematics with minimal guidance.
• Organize parts and materials in proper locations.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs unaccompanied; up to 20 lbs frequently.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall success.
• Other duties as assigned.
