Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC in Grandview, TX is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and install equipment and facilities under direct supervision. This role supports production by performing routine maintenance and quick repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of maintenance experience desirable. You will work with a team, read machine schematics, and follow safety practices daily.

Qualifications

Demonstrates ability to read and interpret basic machine schematics.
Maintains safety with proper lock-out/tag-out procedures and OSHA awareness.
Keeps accurate records and follows supervisor guidance.
Shows willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks and duties including scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) as assigned by a supervisor.
Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using hand and power tools.
Organize parts and materials in their proper locations; lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Follow safety procedures and cooperate with other departments to ensure overall success.
Display a positive team-oriented approach and ability to follow directions.
