Hunt Military Communities in Box Elder, SD is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. The role involves general maintenance, make-ready work, and documentation of repairs across HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry and other building trades.

Candidates should have 1–3 years for Level 1, 4–6 years with EPA/608 within 180 days for Level 2, or 7+ years with multi-trade expertise for Level 3, plus a valid Driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally.
• Team player with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge; daily use of technology platforms.
• Driver's License valid in state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for furnaces, air-conditioning systems, appliances, water heaters and related items.
• Perform skilled work in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or carpentry.
• Document all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain tools and equipment in ready repair.
• Follow safety practices and PPE guidelines.
• Mentor Level 3 technicians and assist with troubleshooting when needed.
