Job summary

Abode is seeking a Maintenance Tech I for the Resetar program in Watsonville, CA. The role focuses on maintenance functions for a supportive housing facility, including turnover prep and daily repairs in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 3 years in unit turnover or residential maintenance, a valid CA driver's license, and strong communication and safety awareness. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in Unit Turnover or Residential Maintenance.
• Use of personal vehicle and valid California Driver's License with current auto insurance and clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair units; perform daily repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with janitorial and vendor teams for turnovers and large projects.
• Complete paperwork and update work orders in the management system.
• Maintain inventory of department items and ensure safety standards are met.
