Abode is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Alameda County. The role focuses on on-site maintenance, turnovers, and preventive work across a housing facility while engaging with residents and vendors. You will also coordinate with janitorial staff to keep units ready and safe.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in unit turnover or residential maintenance, and a valid California driver’s license. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualificações

• High School or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in Unit Turnover or Residential Maintenance.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Excellent verbal & written communication in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and coordinate with janitorial for unit turnovers and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance across the site.
• Complete paperwork and manage work orders in the management system.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of department items and support residents respectfully.
