Job summary

Abode Services seeks a Maintenance Tech I to handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers at a busy Alameda County property. You will work with janitorial staff to prep units, respond to after-hours calls, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years’ experience in residential maintenance. A valid CA driver’s license and clean DMV record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in Unit Turnover or Residential Maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks for a supportive housing facility, including unit turnovers and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Complete work orders and update management software with daily repairs and renovations.
• Maintain inventory of department items and contribute to housing quality standards.
