Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility machinery and production equipment. You will read diagrams, manuals, and specifications to diagnose issues and implement reliable solutions in a busy manufacturing environment.

In this role, safety and quality are paramount. You will work with minimal supervision, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support upgrades to keep plants running efficiently and safely while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to use measuring instruments and perform basic failure analysis.
• Understand electronic components to troubleshoot and repair.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• 5 years working as an industrial electrician/maintenance or in extrusion manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs self-directed reactive and planned maintenance across the facility, including机械设备和生产 equipment.
• Performs simple welding tasks and orders supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots machine failures; works with planner/scheduler.
• Lays out, wires, builds, and troubleshoots electrical panels and other machinery to NFPA/NEC standards.
• Maintains grounds and building exterior with routine electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
• Assists lower-level technicians and provides leadership to small teams.
• May operate multiple machining operations to make and repair parts.
• Troubleshooting 480 components including drives and PLC software; knowledge of Omron, Barber Coleman, ABB, Reliance, and Yaskawa is a plus.
