Job Description
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency to support the site’s business goals.
- Provide reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on production equipment during and outside of production hours.
- Perform duties of a machinist and mechanic, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform plumbing and carpentry functions as needed.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report issues to supervision.
- Follow safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.
