Job summary

Thrive Communities in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform unit turns, handle work orders, and carry out preventative maintenance across our properties. You will collaborate with leasing staff, schedule repairs, and participate in safety programs to ensure high standards of resident satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on maintenance experience, a willingness to be on-call for emergencies, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience, preferably in property management.
• Experience with unit turns, work orders, or appliance repair.
• Basic computer skills; input data and notes in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers for seamless communication.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Participates in safety meetings and follows OSHA/SDS requirements.
• Diagnoses and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and coordinates make-ready repairs and services.
• Emergency on-call is required as part of the position.
• Exceeds residents’ expectations for customer service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.
