Job summary

Princeton Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Worcester, MA property. You will perform daily maintenance tasks across apartment homes and respond to service requests.

Applicants should have residential maintenance experience, own basic tools, a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be willing to on-call during emergencies and snow events. Training and a supportive team are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Residential maintenance experience required (apartment or general repair) — we’ll provide training!
• Possesses a basic set of hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drill bits) and is comfortable using them.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and physically handle tasks like bending, reaching, crawling, etc.
• Willing to be on-call for emergencies and snow removal (rotating schedule).
• The preferred candidate will live in the greater Worcester, MA area and must pass pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance work orders across apartment homes.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues.
• Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Work independently and with a team to keep our communities clean and functioning.
• Communicate with vendors and property management staff as needed.
• Participate in snow removal when required (including nights/weekends during storms).
