Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance in a food-processing facility in Missouri. The role requires welding, electrical, or mechanical repair experience and strong troubleshooting abilities.

The successful candidate will work with engineers and vendors, help implement lean practices, and maintain safety and quality policies while supporting team objectives and daily production needs. English proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics.
• Preference for poultry or food processing experience.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Veterans are welcomed to join the team.

Aufgaben

• Repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipment as needed to ensure operation aligns with production requirements.
• Consults with engineers and vendors; troubleshoots equipment and conducts layout work for projects.
• Meets safety requirements per Simmons policies and government regulations for safety, environment, handling of food products and related items.
• Participates as a team member; supports policies and initiatives, attends meetings and helps achieve synergy across the organization.
• Familiar with Simmons operating systems and contributes to quality, LEAN and policy compliance; communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
