Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Newport, RI is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to ensure each unit and building is in perfect working order. You will apply basic maintenance skills, support guest experiences, and work with a team to uphold our service standards.

You’ll handle painting, appliance repairs, minor electrical and carpentry, maintain outdoor areas, inspect systems, and follow safety programs. The role offers opportunities to develop hands-on skills within a leading vacation ownership and travel

Qualifications

Professional appearance and positive attitude with team focus.
Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
Basic handyman skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality.
Respond to service requests and repairs (painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
Repair fixtures including doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry.
Clean and maintain exterior landscape and pick up trash.
Inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
Adhere to safety programs.
