Job summary

Merion Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across its communities. You will follow safety, PM standards, and participate in on-call rotations to support resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, assisting turnover work, and using maintenance software to track orders and inventory. EPA certification is required, with HVAC training if not present on hire.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance or construction experience.
• 1+ year as a full-charge maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems including inventory control and PM.
• Basic knowledge to troubleshoot mechanical systems incl HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
• Ability to assist other maintenance staff with technical tasks.
• Computer use for time data entry and LMS access.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety and preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation and respond as needed.
• Inspect and maintain building systems, inventory, and equipment.
• Walk property daily, maintain curb appeal, and assist with turnovers.
• Train junior technicians and document work orders.
