United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our McDonough, GA facility. The role supports the maintenance department, performs preventive maintenance, and collaborates with facility management and the team to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include painting, battery maintenance, equipment inspections, and documentation of work orders. Training is provided, with potential involvement in refrigeration tasks after certification.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general maintenance department support and cover for training.
• Maintain professionalism and foster collaboration with facility management and team members.
• Perform painting tasks, including working at heights and in cold temperatures.
• Maintain and replace forklift batteries; inspect and maintain equipment for safe operation.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks: inspect extinguishers, log hours, check emergency lighting and eyewash stations.
• Conduct regular building maintenance for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Accurately complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Participate in training for equipment safety and maintenance; assist with refrigeration tasks if trained.
• Support emergency response efforts as required.
