Stratum is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for a Woodburn, OR community. The role involves hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, with occasional coverage at Woodburn West Apartments.

The schedule is Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a competitive hourly wage of $20–$29 based on experience. You’ll help keep the community safe, clean, and well-maintained, perform landscaping, and address resident service requests while advancing your maintenance skills

Formación

• Maintenance, porter, janitorial, landscaping, construction, or related experience.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, commercial, or property management.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely.
• Pool experience or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Professional communication with residents and coworkers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, appliance, and lock repairs
• Occasionally covering Woodburn West Apartments
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the property, common areas, and amenities
• Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and pruning
• Conduct daily property walks and address safety or appearance concerns
• Assist with pool maintenance, inspections, and water testing
• Support property inspections and safety initiatives
• Accurately document completed work and maintenance activities
• Assist with general property improvement projects including pressure washing, painting, and grounds upkeep
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed

We're looking for someone who:

• Is able to be on‑call for after‑hours emergencies
• Has at least one year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, commercial, property management, or a related field preferred
• Has a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and general building maintenance
• Is comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Has pool experience or is willing to learn
• Can work independently or in a team environment
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Communicates professionally with residents and coworkers
