Job summary

Dimar Manufacturing Corp is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery. The role is day shift, Monday through Friday, with the responsibility to assist in repairs under supervision and to maintain CNC machinery per manufacturer specifications.

Candidates should have 2+ years in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, and a high school diploma or GED.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pay $25 to $30/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• This position is day shift Monday through Friday.
• Assist in repair of equipment as directed by maintenance personnel.
• Maintain CNC machinery such as press brakes, lathes and mills by following preventive maintenance specs.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and initiate repairs; dismantle machines to access defective parts.
• Inspect equipment, test operations, and manage downtime with production teams.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components; maintain HVAC and facility systems.
• Follow electrical blueprints and install/configure equipment as needed.

Job Summary

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to production and facility equipment in order to ensure the safe efficient operation of machinery and all mechanical equipment.

• This position is day shift Monday through Friday.


• Assist in the repair of equipment as directed by other maintenance personnel.


• Ensures operation of CNC machinery such as press brakes, lathes and mills by completing preventive maintenance requirements as established by manufacturer's specifications.


• Inspect, operate, or test CNC and manual machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and initiate repairs as required.


• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.


• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance.


• Troubleshoot and perform repairs to hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.


• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and physical structure of all production facilities.


• Measure, cut and install wiring and conduit.


• Install and configure electrical equipment.


• Follow electrical blueprints and schematics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic equipment maintenance: able to follow directions precisely and perform repetitive maintenance tasks.


• Technical understanding of maintenance concepts and practices.


• Deal with uncertainty in a flexible and proactive manner.


• Basic common safety practices, OSHA certifications a plus.
