Job summary

Godshall Recruiting is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair CNC machinery and automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Support CNC controls, PLCs, servo motors, drives, and sensors.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Partner with production and engineering to reduce downtime.
• Maintain repair records and assist with maintenance procedures.
• Recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.

Salary: $23-$28/hour (BOE)

What your future day will look like:

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, automated equipment, and facility systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective repairs
• Support CNC controls, PLCs, servo motors, drives, sensors, and related automation components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
• Partner with Production and Engineering teams to resolve equipment problems and reduce downtime
• Maintain repair records and assist with developing maintenance procedures and documentation
• Recommend and implement improvements that increase reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment performance
• Assist with spare parts inventory management and equipment readiness
• Follow all safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Advanced technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, automation, or a related field preferred
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of PLCs, CNC controls, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and motion control systems
• Experience maintaining CNC equipment and supporting automated manufacturing equipment; robotics will be a huge plus!
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
