Job summary

IHI Turbo America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to support automated assembly lines and facility systems. You will diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on improvements.

Safety is paramount; candidates need a HS diploma or 2-year technical degree and hands-on experience with 24 VDC to 480 VAC, 110–480 VAC, and 3-phase systems. Travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems from 24 VDC to 480 VAC.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems 24 VDC to 480 VAC and diagnose faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assembly lines and CNC equipment.
• Install and maintain 110VAC – 480VAC single and 3-phase systems.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering on collaborative tasks.
• Move and position machines; assist in material handling.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic supply systems; forklift upkeep.
• Operate aerial platform up to 35 feet; complete PMs in CMMS.

Description

IHI Turbo America is looking to grow our 3rd shift Maintenance team with an experienced automation technician.

As a maintenance technician at ITA you will be tasked with various assignments that will require you to work as an individual and as a team. These assignments will range from maintaining automated assembly lines to facility maintenance, Safety will be a paramount in every aspect of this position.

PREREQUISITES:

Education: HS Diploma, 2 year technical degree preferred

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Component level troubleshooting of electrical systems 24 VDC to 480 VAC
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on assembly and CNC equipment
• Install and maintain 110VAC – 480VAC single and 3 phase systems (bending & installing conduit, pulling wire, Etc.)
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in collaborative tasks
• Assist in moving machines
• Plumbing pneumatic and hydraulic supply systems
• Forklift maintenance
• Operation of arial platform up to 35 feet
• Attend maintenance training as required (travel)

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete work orders within the CMMS thoroughly describing actions taken and root cause analysis
• Notify purchasing and inventory technician of any parts or tools that may need to be ordered
• Fill out P.M. forms in CMMS

Equipment operation:

• Forklift, Drill Press, Powered Hand Tools, Digital Multi-Meter, Arial Lift, Scissor Lift

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The pay range provided represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining fairness with internal pay structures. We ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including those related to minimum pay requirements.

• $22-30/Hour
