Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment. The role includes troubleshooting 240V/400V three-phase circuits, servicing VFDs, motors, and PLC-related controls, with a focus on minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in heavy manufacturing maintenance, journeyman certification or equivalent experience, and is capable of performing preventive maintenance and lockout procedures across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6–10 years in heavy manufacturing maintenance or journeyman certification.
• Ability to diagnose equipment failures independently and apply effective repairs.
• Experience troubleshooting 240V and 400V three‑phase circuits, low‑voltage controls, and motor drives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures on production machinery and facility systems.
• Repair or replace wiring, breakers, relays, sensors, and motor controls; service HVAC components.
• Perform preventive inspections and implement lockout/tagout procedures.
• Use PLC concepts to trace faults and verify component functionality.

Salary: $33 - $40 per hour

Job Details

High school diploma/GED and 6–10 years of heavy manufacturing maintenance experience or journeyman certification; electrical and mechanical knowledge sufficient to diagnose equipment failures independently.

Troubleshoot 240V and 400V three-phase circuitry, low-voltage controls, AC/DC motors, VFDs, encoders, and transducers using multimeters, ammeters, and electrical schematics.

Use a PC to analyze PLC programs and read basic ladder logic to trace equipment faults and identify failed components.

Repair or replace wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches, contactors, relays, and electrical/electronic components on production machinery and facility systems, including HVAC.

Perform preventive inspections and respond to breakdowns; identify root causes, plan repairs, and apply lockout procedures before servicing equipment.
