Job summary

Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to perform daily preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to improve plant reliability and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance technician position, with strong skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and welding. Competitive base pay, shift bonus, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Job description

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels.
• Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate self-reliance in all aspects of maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills such as problem solving, timeliness, and follow-up- required.
• Previous experience- 3-5 years in a Maintenance Technician Role- required
• Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, mechanical systems, PLCs, electronics, plumbing, welding, machine tools and schematic reading
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance PM and PDM maintenance strategies

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate office equipment efficiently. Ability to distinguish color. Require frequent walking, bending, standing, reach above shoulders, and sitting with exposure to production areas requiring use of safety equipment and exposure to cold, wet, damp, hot and noisy environments. Ability to lift to 40 lbs.

Position Summary

Responsible for daily preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability.

Salary & Benefits

Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
Base Pay of $33.55(more based on experience)
+ $2.00 shift bonus + $2.00 shift differential(hours worked between 2pm-6am)
