Carolina Beverage Group in Cold Spring, MN seeks a Maintenance Line Technician to support production line maintenance with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity. The role offers variable shifts (day or night), long 12-hour shifts, and a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with significant opportunities and benefits.

Responsibilities include adopting new processes, training coworkers, maintaining sanitation records, and ensuring compliance with GMP and Food Safety standards, while supporting site

Qualificações

• 1-3 years’ experience in a Production environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical background across maintenance, plumbing, electrical, welding, heating and refrigeration.
• Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and company web-based programs.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure new production line initiatives meet objectives and may involve tech and process changes.
• Promote quick adoption and provide training to achieve proficiency on new initiatives.
• Attend training on new processes and equipment as required.
• Monitor activities in assigned area throughout the shift.
• Learn and apply new processes; train, lead and communicate with coworkers.
• Evaluate and continuously improve processes to minimize changeover times.
• Ensure every detail and specification of each product is met.
• Operate and maintain equipment; perform tests and records as required.

Maintenance Line Technician

Status: Full Time Day Shift [or Full Time Night Shift]

Hours: 12-hour shift - 6a-6p [or 6p-6a]

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)

JOB TITLE:Maintenance Line TechnicianLocation: Cold Spring, MN
Department: Maintenance

Status: non-exempt Position Summary: This position is in charge of assisting in the maintenance of all plant processes in their assigned area of responsibility, maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the new production line initiatives meet organizational objectives this will include changes to technology and systems, changes to business processes and changes in organizational structure and job roles.
• Strive to achieve quick adoption of change and ensure efficient understanding and training in order to achieve organizational proficiency to handle new initiatives and projects.
• Attends training on new processes and equipment. This may include self study.
• Monitors activities in area of responsibility at all times during shift.
• Must learn and apply new processes and procedures in area of responsibility, as well as train, lead and communicate effectively with all co-workers.
• Responsible for evaluating and continuous improvement of processes in area of responsibility working to minimize change over times.
• Ensures that every detail and specification of each product is met.
• Follows work direction effectively, completing/overseeing all record keeping and performing all tests as required.
• Maintains spare parts inventory, notifying manager when running low.
• Maintains appropriate sanitation records, keeping track of what chemicals are used and in what concentration.
• Gives Public Relations tours and acts as spokesperson for the company when requested.
• Operates and maintains all equipment area of assigned responsibility, ensuring it working properly and as efficiently as possible.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer.
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.

Position Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience in a Production environment is preferred, but not required.
• Extended standing on hard surfaces.
• Must have strong mechanical background, including thorough knowledge in areas of maintenance, plumbing, electrical, welding, heating, and refrigeration
• May be required to work and direct in confined spaces and work with high pressure steam
• Will work around noise, dust, variable temperatures and use of production chemicals
• Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of company web-based programs
• Regular bending, stooping and lifting up to 60lbs.
• Position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors.
