Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites, Charlotte is seeking a proactive Maintenance Tech I to keep our property safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and teammates. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, lighting, carpentry, and HVAC systems to exceptional standards.

You will develop, implement, and monitor safety and preventive maintenance programs, keep thorough records, and provide hands-on training to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across hotel systems.
• Ability to train junior team members and lead by example.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration, and mechanical operations.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, lighting, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs in compliance with regulations.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule for department needs.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience with a +1 Service attitude.
