Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners LLC is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to join our on-site team in Alexandria, VA. You’ll learn the ins and outs of our property maintenance and grow with a supportive group.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, inspections, and assisting with setup and seasonal tasks, while adhering to safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are required; HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year maintenance or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC or EPA basic knowledge preferred.

• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks including painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work.
• Conduct routine inspections of common areas and apartments to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with furniture setup, seasonal maintenance (e.g., snow removal, landscaping), and make-ready tasks.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior technicians on more complex repair projects and preventive maintenance.
