Job summary

Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our residential property team. You will handle day-to-day maintenance operations across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds work, and participate in make-ready units for new move-ins.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC certification (CFC) and CPO, plus to pass a background and drug screen. Some weekend work and 24-hour emergency coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• HVAC Certification (CFC) & CPO required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal history & drug screen.
• Maintenance experience in multi-family housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting.
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems; maintain, repair and replace as needed.
• 24 hour emergency maintenance coverage (pre-scheduled).
• Some weekends required.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• General grounds work: sweeping and light landscaping.
• Pool maintenance and coordination of special projects as directed.
