Job summary

Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our property services team. The role covers day-to-day maintenance across our residential communities and requires strong hand-on skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.

You will be part of a team responsible for preventive maintenance, make-ready units for new move-ins, and respond to 24-hour emergency requests. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC Certification (CFC) and CPO preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver''s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Maintenance experience in multi-family housing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks.
• Repairing structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and exteriors.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance (pre-scheduled times).
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Grounds work and light landscaping.
• Pool maintenance.
• Coordinate special projects as directed by maintenance supervisor or property manager.
