Job summary

Algarita Lakeside Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Tech to handle the upkeep of the building and grounds, completing work orders and coordinating make-ready tasks. The role requires diagnosing basic HVAC and plumbing issues, maintaining pool equipment, and supporting on-site operations.

On-call responsibilities are part of the position. Ideal candidates have basic HVAC and plumbing knowledge, experience with apartment maintenance, and familiarity with work order systems to ensure timely,

Qualifications

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on‑call rotation.
